What is Stem 911?
Our current school system is failing children.
Teachers are overburdened. Class sizes have ballooned while teacher pay has remained stagnant since the 70s. Teachers have less time to chase after underperformers or even just help students who need extra tutoring. At the same time, accountability for the student’s grades and actions has shifted from the student to the teacher; causing teacher burnout and lower performance-based pay.
Private companies have taken over school oversight, causing students to be stuck in a cycle of standardized testing that can determine their whole future. These tests determine if students proceed to the next grade or not. Very high stress with no do-overs.
STEM 911 was created to help fill bridge the gaps in our education system. I specialize in helping students who struggle with science, technology, engineering, and math.
I work hard to help students understand difficult concepts so they can ace their STEM courses and be prepared for college– no matter the budget!
